No one wants to be defrauded. If it never happened to you, you're lucky. Never let it happen to you or anyone else you care about. And help yourself and others if you can by sharing your thoughts and feelings about suspicious projects. Share the warning signs:
Anonymity Never invest in a project where the founders or the team behind the project are anonymous. That is the single biggest flag. If the team behind the project keeps dodging the subject of anonymity, say hello, see you later, and bye!
Telegram Environment Join the Telegram group, speak, and get a feel of the environment. If the token is aggressively hyped and exaggerated claims are being made regularly, it's a red flag.
Fud (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) - The scammer's nemesis An easy way to spot a scam token or an incoming rug pull is to search the Telegram group for "fud" or "scam." These words pop up very regularly in scam projects and almost never in legitimate ones. If you search for any of those words and get a ton of results, leave the group and never look back.

TGTBT And finally, if it's too good to be true. It probably is. I learn that the hard way, along with god knows how many others.
Choke the marketing supply.
One of the reasons rug pulls keep popping up and are so successful in stealing tens of millions is that they thrive on fake news. Sponsoring their own articles allows them to claim whatever they want to lure investors.
Seeing the similarities between past and upcoming rug pulls doesn't take much. They apply the same marketing tactics by releasing massive amounts of fake press. The news portals know that. However, they make money, and therefore, they don't care.
But they should care. A lot. This report will help refresh their minds and put what they are facilitating into perspective. After all, they are helping multimillion-dollar scams flourish, which cannot be ignored for much longer.
When I spot an incoming rug pull, I will warn the website to stop cooperation immediately. If they decline, I will report them to their hosting provider, domain registrar, FTC, Google, Cyber Crime Units, and anywhere else I can think of. The idea here is to choke the primary marketing channel that rug pulls need to survive and thrive.
Telegram Mass Messaging
If you are reading this, chances are you received a Telegram message that led you to this report. That strategy can be applied to new rug pulls. Export all group members, mass message to warn everyone privately, done, next! And there is nothing admins can do about it.
I'm sure I can come up with many other ways. But that's a conversation for another day.
