I have been making some investments in crypto since 2017. Last November, I came across a project that caught my eye called Oberon Protocol. I believed in the project and the idea, as it generated a lot of hype online. And so, without proper due diligence, I invested a considerable amount worth a year's salary into it. However, the more I started engaging with the Team behind the project on Telegram and emails, the more I noticed red flags and suspicious behavior.
The people behind it kept extending the launch date and creating more pre-sale stages as they deemed fit to raise more money. This happened without notifying any of the investors beforehand. Communication is only done through email and Telegram.
The founders never appeared in person, and many investors became increasingly suspicious. As a result, the Telegram admins, who claimed to be just Telegram moderators for the project, started banning people that asked legitimate questions due to obvious concerns with the project. This is not normal behavior from a real crypto startup by any means.
There are over 6000 people that invested over $10,000,000 collectively in this project alone, including myself, most of which are now suspecting that this is a fraudulent operation. I am convinced it is, and itβs much larger than anyone thought. I started investigating.
