After many heated arguments with the moderators of the project (the fraudsters) about the validity of the project and all the secrecy surrounding the founders, the fraudsters claimed that they would proceed with a KYC. The subject of KYC has been a hot topic in the Telegram group and all investors anxiously waited for this validation to come to light and put everyone’s minds at rest.

Unfortunately, when the KYC was completed on the 10th of February 2023, the KYC website itself turned out to be fictitious, undoubtedly created by the fraudsters. The website in question is coinsult.net. The domain coinsult.net was created on November 15th, 2021. Just like the Orbeon Protocol scam, the founders on the website do not exist, and communication is through email and Telegram. This time, the fraudsters decided not to put real faces on the founders to avoid the same backlash they are getting from the communities they are defrauding.

All the companies they claim to have audited are fictitious, and they placed Orbeon Protocol second in the list to make it appear as if they are KYCing real companies. Their fictitious KYC audits are also posted publicly to Github to give the appearance of a legitimate Crypto KYC/Auditing company.

The commits to Github started around ten months ago. While Investigating a few of the companies listed as audited, I noticed that they all had their domains registered very recently. They are all fake websites, without a doubt.

  • bep.ai - Created on 2023-01-28 (12 days old at the time of writing)

  • tmsnetwork.io - Created on 2023-01-13 (27 days old at the time of writing)

  • powercyclefinance.com - Created on 2023-01-13 (27 days old at the time of writing)

  • bostondynamicsinu.com - Created on 2023-01-02 (38 days old at the time of writing)

  • yunus.network - Created on 2022-11-24 (77 days old at the time of writing) All other websites listed on coinsult.net have similar registration dates.

We can also confirm that the websites had been set up days before the fictitious audit with WayBackMachine, which shows that there was no activity on the domain before February 2023.

These are supposed to be full-blown crypto projects that were already developed. It is impossible to develop a project in 12 days. They are obviously fictitious projects made solely for the KYC website to look legitimate. Therefore, the KYC website is obviously part of the scam operation.

All other websites listed on the fake KYC website coinsult.net have similar registration dates. New websites are created daily, with domains registered on the same day or week. A project that was listed as successfully KYCd, had its domain registered two days prior.
